Favorite Tactics
My favorite tactic is to fire the Shockwave through a cliff into my enemy’s base. This strategy works well on maps in which player's bases are bounded by narrow cliffs or ridges. First you find a location on the opposite side of the ridge or cliff from the players base. Set up scouts to be sure that the player can not see your approach. Then build a Shockwave and move it to this location. The best way to do this is to use an aerial escort flying over the Shockwave so that enemies can't see it. Once the Shockwave has arrived, launch it through the cliff at a vulnerable target inside the base. With the Shockwaves long range it will actually move through the cliff and well into the players base usually allowing you to take out particularly vulnerable structures since high cliffs give players a sense of security.
