Campaigns

Campaign 1, Campaign 2, Campaign 3, Campaign 4

NOTE - This Page explains why Campaign 2 Misison 3 was IMPOSSIBLE to win in Turn Based or SIM modes (how did that pass Quality Assurance?).

Play any mission in any order

To make all Campaigns and Missions playable you need to change two numbers in your MAX2.INI file. The first section in the file is titled [SETUP]. Change the number in the following two lines to be 49 (means campaign 4 mission 9):

current_campaign_1_mission=49
current_campaign_mission=49

Do not change the text in front of the = though! Only change the number at the end of these two lines! It should not be necessary, but you may need to change the skipped numbers to be 0 as well, as noted below:

last_campaign_1_skipped=0
last_campaign_2_skipped=0
last_campaign_3_skipped=0
last_campaign_4_skipped=0

With these changes you should be able to play any mission at any time in any order. Thanks io HISS!
